The Last Apology Tour
Obama fantasizing about normal, peaceful relations with Russia and Putin
Obama stares into Medvedev’s eyes and fantasizes about normal, peaceful relations with Russia and Putin

I am shocked by the fact that the Liberal leaders of Europe have the gall to ask President Obama how America could possibly elect a man like Donald Trump to the office of President… and I am sickened by the fact my President has the gall to try to offer an explanation.

But then, it’s been a hallmark of President Obama’s foreign policy to discuss our internal policy with foreign media… over thousand-dollar a bottle wine, caviar on little crackers and escargot appetizers, shared with the Socialist despots who control the United Nations, for his entire tour as president.

True to form President Obama is now taking one last, tearful tour of the world – on taxpayer dime.  He’s speaking with the leaders he feels truly understand the world and how to deal with it… the way he sees the world… the way he deals with it.  These Socialist, elitist leaders are his true soulmates.  He wants to tell them personally that he won’t be flying in on Air Force One anymore, and to wish them success in their Socialist march.

Sadly, however, President Obama cannot bring himself to reassure them and say something like; “You can count on America to always be there for you”, or “We stand with you shoulder-to-shoulder against the mutual dangers we all face.”  He cannot say those things because those things have NOT been a hallmark of his presidency, as time and time again he withdrew American troops and political support from these same nations, and either stood in favor of, or ignored the spread of Jihadist Islam, the resurgence of Russia, the rise of China and the development of nuclear weapons in North Korea and Iran.

So yesterday found our illustrious leader speaking in Greece.  President Obama was asked what the world could expect from America under Donald Trump.  After a long, scholarly pause President Obama stared dramatically off into some corner of the universe only visible to one so intelligent and sophisticated as he, carefully pursed his lips and – on a foreign stage to a foreign audience and speaking of a Constitutionally and lawfully elected President elect Donald J. Trump had this to say…

“We are going to have to guard against a rise in a crude sort of nationalism, or ethnic identity, or tribalism that is built around an ‘us’ and a ‘them’.

Here’s my take on what our President probably wanted to say…

“We are going to have to guard against a rise in a crude sort of knuckle dragging “pseudo-patriotism”, or white supremacy, from the hicks that inhabit the ‘fly-over states’ and ‘cling to their guns and bibles’, that is built around a ‘whites versus everyone else’ philosophy.”

Almost as soon as President Obama spoke those words in Greece the Liberal talking heads began to craft their spin.  They pointed to the words he prefaced his comments with…

“I do believe that separate and apart from any particular election or movement”

… and say, “See!  He wasn’t talking about our election!  He wasn’t talking about America.  He was talking about the world as a whole!  He was talking about the BREXIT and recent elections around the free world!”  Please don’t insult my intelligence – I know who he was talking about and so did his audience.  And if for the sake of argument, we accept that he was talking about the world as a whole, well then EVEN WORSE!  So he’s not only insulting half of all Americans… he’s insulting half of the whole freakin world!

Here’s the full 4:30 min clip of President Obama’s response.  Watch it and decide for yourself if he’s talking about America or some vague, universal set of truths and standards of conduct.

President Obama simply does not see the world as it is.  Consider Obama’s candid comments caught on an open mic unbeknownst to him at the time in 2012 telling Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, “This is my last election.  After my last election, I have more flexibility” to work out a deal with the Russians.  To which Medvedev replies “I understand.  I will transmit this information to Vladimir.”  Then in his March 26th, 2014 address to the European Union in the wake of the Russian annexation of Crimea only a few days earlier, Obama’s response was something akin to total denial as he said; “Russia’s leadership is challenging truths that only a few weeks ago seemed self-evident, that in the 21st century, the borders of Europe cannot be redrawn with force, that international law matters, that people and nations can make their own decisions about their future.”  I guess Putin didn’t get the memo that peace had broken out all over Obamaland.

So now 4 years later the Russians have annexed Crimea, seized the eastern half of the Ukraine, are threatening the northern tier of NATO nations, regularly perform dangerously close “fly-bys” of U.S. aircraft and ships to taunt us, are openly talking about nuclear war with America… and US-Russian relations are at their lowest point since the Cold War.  What exactly did Obama eventually tell Putin?  Must not have made much of an impression on him!  Here’s the Washington Post article about that particular “Great Moment in Obama’s America.”

Obama’s naiveite reminds me of the comedy movie Team America and Hans Blix’ visit to the North Korean dictator Kim Jong Il.

Time and time again President Obama has paused to remind us all of how wonderful he is.  All the more during this past election cycle when he no doubt surmised that unless Hillary Clinton was elected his own legacy would be exposed for the $10 trillion-dollar sham that it is and then systematically dismantled.  Even now during his last apology tour he’s gone on and on about how the world is a less violent place, more peaceful and stable, that the American economy has never been stronger and – of course – that he has done a wonderful job as President of the United States.

I cannot speak for President elect Trump.  I cannot predict the sorts of challenges he will face over these next four or eight years, or his responses to them.  I will say this however; President Trump will face a world that no longer respects or fears America… a world accustomed to an America that panders to, and bows and scrapes before tyrants… and America that fears war – that believes that anything is preferable to war.  He’ll have to deal with a much more dangerous world, with more powerful adversaries and more nuclear powers than the one his predecessor found in January of 2009.

So, since I cannot stop President Obama’s new world-wide apology tour – one during which he is literally apologizing for the stupidity and lack of sophistication of myself and my fellow Conservative Americans – I will simply have to sit and watch in disgust.

You have 62 days more Mr. President.  After that, to paraphrase, you don’t have to go home, but you can’t stay in the White House.
