Since we elected Biden President, and he appointed Vice President Harris his “Border Czar”…
- A record number of illegal immigrants have crossed our Southern border; a total of 4.9 million since January of 2021… 1.8 million in 2021 and 2.1 million so far in 2022, with another three months to go
- Among them were a record 81 known terrorists; 15 in 2021 and another 66 this year… and again, three months to go
- Here’s another great record; 1,305 people have died attempting to cross our Southern border since Biden took office… 557 in 2021 and 748 this year… with three months to go
- And of course, a record amount of fentanyl, other dangerous drugs, and illegal firearms have poured into the United States on Harris’ watch, as a result of President Biden’s failed border policies
In her September 12th interview with NBC’s “Meet the Press”, Harris said, “We have a secure border… in that, that is a priority for any nation, including ours and our administration.” In other words, our border must be secure because that sort of thing is a “priority for any nation”… and the United States is a nation… so it only stands to reason that our border must be secure! Right?
She goes on to say, “But there are still a lot of problems that we are trying to fix given the deterioration that happened over the last four years”, referring to the Trump years, when our border was at its MOST secure in our history, and when border crossings were at their lowest.
As the New York Post points out, these comments border on insanity!
Vice President Kamala Harris has visited the border… once, to El Paso, on June 25th, 2021… for four hours;
“Harris, who was accompanied by Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., and U.S. Rep. Veronica Escobar, D-El Paso, visited the El Paso Border Patrol station and the El Paso del Norte Port of Entry, and met with representatives of non-governmental organizations that help immigrants during her four-hour trip to the border city.”
However, there’s no record that President Biden, in all of his long years of government service as President, Vice President, Senator, or even just as a concerned citizen, has ever visited our Southern border – not one, single time. He briefly drove along the border for a few miles campaigning in 2008 in Texas, and he’s visited Mexico City as a U.S. diplomat a few times. But no visits to the actual U.S./Mexico border, to walk alongside U.S. Border Patrol Agents, to see the carnage wrought by the policies of his own party, and his own administration.
So, no, Kamala, as this Washington Examiner article reports, the border is not secure. It never has been. We started to get there under President Trump, even in the face of the strongest opposition I’ve seen from the Democratic Party in my lifetime.
As the Liberal magazine “The Atlantic” proudly wrote in December of 2021, “Trump’s “Big Border Wall” is now a pile of rusting steel. Worth at least a quarter billion dollars, the steel bollards are a relic of the Trump era.” Yay President Biden! Yay Democrats! Yay Liberals!
Now we have 5 million – MILLION – new illegal immigrants inside of America that we have to feed, clothe, house, educate and provide medical care for… at a time when President Biden and the Democratic Party have given us the highest inflation in history, the highest gas prices in history and record crime in our streets.
