Personally – for what it’s worth – I am excited to see what the next four years will bring.  I am quite relieved to see Barack Obama leaving.  I am thankful to God that Hillary Clinton and her husband are forever gone from the landscape of American politics.  I would like to see the Clintons prosecuted for their crimes, but that would just be icing on the cake.

Under Obama the American government itself was used as an instrument of political retribution by an ideolog and his administration against our own people.  Just a few of these were the Justice Department, the IRS, and the EPA.  This level of corruption is unprecedented in our history.  And yet America was poised to elect a woman who is CLEARLY A FELON!  Hillary Clinton absolutely DID mishandle extremely sensitive classified information to include (according to the FBI) satellite imagery that revealed our orbital capabilities and intelligence gathered from human sources in countries that have certainly executed those informants based on information she allowed to fall into enemy hands!

Let me take this opportunity to clarify a common misconception regarding the safeguarding of classified information; there is absolutely NO requirement to “prove intent” to do harm to the nation through disclosure as the FBI, the U.S. Justice Department, the Democratic Party, President Obama and the main stream media maintain protects Hillary Clinton.  Look up 18 U.S. Code § 798 Disclosure of Classified Information and read it for yourself.  I handle classified information every single day and have done so for about 40 years.  In fact, I’m something of an expert on the subject of safeguarding classified information.  If I had allowed even ONE of those documents to fall into unauthorized hands (as the FBI has already determined that Clinton has done) I would be immediately unemployed, facing a 20-year jail term!  There is NO requirement to prove INTENT!  Mishandling is sufficient!

The Obama administration worked to divide the American people; rich from poor, black from white, big cities from rural residents, bringing about a fractured nation of “haves and have-nots.”  This is a standard political tactic of the Democratic Party and Socialist Liberal Left – a political philosophy expressed so clearly by one of Obama’s mentors Saul Alinsky.  Hillary Clinton openly embraced the “Black Lives Matter” movement who fallaciously espouse that America’s Police (both black and white) are literally prowling our streets, hunting down and murdering young black men, but she ignores the unbelievable murder rate in places like Chicago (more than 3,100 dead in the first nine months of this year alone) where black-on-black crime is taking the REAL toll among African Americans.

The Obama administration and the Democrats are literally “importing” new members to their party through uncontrolled illegal immigration, working to legalized these people and provide them with instant citizenship.  Hillary Clinton had promised to approve more than 110,000 more Syrian refugees to add to the more than 150,000 Obama has already allowed in to America with no possible way of vetting any of them.  Consider the election results of just a few days ago and the difference that only a few hundred thousand more Democrat votes would have made in key battleground states and you will begin to understand why this tactic is so important to the Democrats.

Under Obama we have seen endless assaults on the freedom of the press, the freedom of speech, and the freedom of religion.  Our right to keep and bear arms has been systematically eroded to the point that now only the Supreme Court has the power to intervene.  Hillary Clinton made promise after promise on the campaign trail to continue Obama’s war on guns.

Those are among my more important domestic reasons for applauding America’s choice of Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton, and some of you may be saying, “hey, I want to see access to firearms restricted!  I want to see our borders opened up to those poor unfortunates.”  OK, we can have that debate separately.  Now for the more sobering foreign policy argument for Trump over Clinton.

For those of you that fear we are heading into a time of some sort of global conflict I would answer that we probably ARE!  But keep in mind that President Obama’s feckless foreign policy toward our adversaries (China, Russia, Iran and North Korea in particular) and his dismissive attitude toward out allies (Israel, South Korea, Japan and the Philippines in particular) that has brought us to where we are today.  Donald Trump will inherit that mess, just as surely as Obama inherited the financial collapse of 2008 from Bush.  So, if we now DO become involved in more war (remember that we are still involved in a war in Afghanistan, and that we have had to re-entered the war in Iraq after having retreated prematurely) it is due in large part to the fact that we have backed down in the face of aggression from some of the most dangerous dictatorships on the planet; China, Russia and Iran.

Under Obama, America has allowed the North Korean nuclear weapons program to move from a theoretical challenge to a full-blown system which will soon mount nuclear weapons on their new family of medium and long range ballistic missiles.

Under Obama, America has almost certainly allowed Iran to continue their own nuclear weapons program in secret despite the so-called Iranian Nuc Deal, and has stood idly by as they too rapidly develop medium and long range ballistic missile delivery systems.

Under Obama, America has allowed China to rapidly expand across the South China Sea and threaten our allies – the Philippines, Japan and South Korea.

Under Obama, America has allowed Russia to seize Crimea and the eastern portion of the Ukraine, and threaten Northern Europe despite our commitments to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.

President Obama has done nothing to push back against ANY of these threats – any one of which represents a serious threat to our nation.

Also, consider this; as Obama’s Secretary of State Hillary Clinton presided over the implosion of the Middle East, the collapse of Libya and the tragedy that was Benghazi, the proliferation of fundamentalist Jihadist Islam across the globe, and the rise of ISIS.  Clinton was poised to continue President Obama’s failed foreign policy because it was essentially HER foreign policy.

I posit that it is not Donald Trump that is particularly dangerous… but that the post-Obama (post-Clinton) world has become a much more dangerous place.  How Donald Trump reacts to that long list of challenges will define his life and may determine whether our nation survives.

There IS true evil in the world. There ARE real monsters. There ARE entire nations of people who have lived for so long under such intense propaganda and deception that they ARE entirely supportive of going to war with America with the goal of our destruction.

I thank God that Hillary Clinton lost, for the immediate sake of our own nation and our own freedoms, as well as for the long-term sake of the free world.  For if America falls who will rise to take our place?

Of war I will simply provide this quote from the English philosopher John Stuart Mill;

“War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things: the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks nothing worth a war, is worse.

When a people are used as mere human instruments for firing cannon or thrusting bayonets, in the service and for the selfish purposes of a master, such war degrades a people.  A war to protect other human beings against tyrannical injustice; a war to give victory to their own ideas of right and good, and which is their own war, carried on for an honest purpose by their free choice, is often the means of their regeneration.

A man who has nothing which he is willing to fight for, nothing which he cares more about than he does about his personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.  As long as justice and injustice have not terminated their ever-renewing fight for ascendancy in the affairs of mankind, human beings must be willing, when need is, to do battle for the one against the other.”

Truer words were never spoken.

Consider how our pacifist and cowardly European Socialist “allies” in places like France and Germany now decry our election results and wring their hands over what they fear may happen.  They fear that Donald Trump may not bow before Vladimir Putin as Barrack Obama did, and that the result may be war.  They fear he may not stand idly by and watch China swallow up vast stretches of the Pacific Ocean and sweep our allies aside, and may instead choose war.  They fear that he may fight back against the onslaught of Jihadist Islam as America once did under George Bush.

Consider also the immediate, brave and clear support for that same election result expressed by Benjamin Netanyahu the Prime Minister of Israel and former member of an elite Israeli Special Forces unit known as the “Sayeret Matkal” specializing in deep reconnaissance behind enemy lines.  This man knows all too well that – to paraphrase Aragorn, famous Ranger from Middle Earth – “open war may soon be upon us whether we would risk it or not.”  The difference between these responses from world leaders provides stark contrast between those who understand that wars sometimes must be fought and those for whom nothing is worth war.

To Obama and the Socialist Liberal Left in America nothing is worth war.

I see Donald Trump’s election at this point in our history to be the hand of God on America just as surely as the election of George Bush immediately prior to the attacks of 9-11.
